Well, here we are - 10 months old. I put a 12 month sleeper on Prescott last night and it fit perfect. WOW - how fast they grow. It is so fun to watch little Prescott's personality develop. He is becoming a force to be reckoned with. Don't get me wrong he is very sweet and can be loving and snuggly but I highly recommend you don't get in his way. He will run you over, take you down and steal your heart all at once. He eats anything and everything and never take food away from him or you may end up loosing a finger. He has 8 teeth that have fully popped through and is getting his two fangs and will soon have 10 teeth. For this reason breast feeding has slowly ended. I am very sad because I wanted to breast feed for a year but my little imp bites. Get bit with 8 sharp teeth while breast feeding and you end up with a bloody mess. Not so much fun and way too stressfull. So, it is time to let go besides I think he likes formula and has started sleeping 12 hours a night. Yes, 12 hours a night. This means I have gotten 9-10 hours of sleep for the last several nights. It is amazing how much better you feel after getting some sleep. Sleep is good because Prescott crawls every where and is fast. He gets himself into more trouble and I am constantly pulling him away from dangerous situations. Fortunately for us all Woody is a great big brother and watches out too. There have been many times when Woody comes and gets me to inform me that Prescott is getting into the plants, garbage or the toilet. Yes, the toilet - this is because Prescott LOVES water. It is almost wierd how much Prescott is drawn to water. He even giggles and grins when we walk out into the rain. Bath time is lots of fun in our house - the brothers have a wild rumpus and everything and everyone gets soaked. But the brothers have fun and that is what we like to see. Yes, the brothers have lots of fun together. They seem to get along really well. Woody is so patient and lets Prescott climb all over him, pull his hair and try to bite his nose. Prescott is also very patient with Woody when Woody tackles him, takes him down to the floor and lays on top of him. It should be interesting to see where this game goes when Prescott is big enough to retaliate.Prescott is pulling himself up on anything sturdy enough to old him and has started trying to walk around furniture. He gets into a "V" position and trys to stand up - he has not had any luck but sometimes in the bathtub with the help of the water he stands up. Another amazing thing I have noticed Prescott doing is mimicing sounds. I say "yeah" a lot and I hear Prescott making that same noise. There are lots of other noices he mimics too.
It should be fun to watch him continue to develop. He is very diffrent from his brother and adds a fun new dynamic to the family. If and when the brothers decided to team up I have a feeling they will be unstoppable.
