Title : Online School Management System

Type : Product

Duration : June 08 to till date.

Description: Online School Management System is an Application Software developed by an expert team of NetBook Technologies, covering each and every entity of school. It provides an interactive platform for teachers, management and parents.

This application covers each and every department of a school and makes the functioning of schools effortless. The added advantage of our software is that it is very cost-effective as compared to other school software and it having much more features comparing to its competitors. Users with little computer knowledge can use this software very easily.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for gathering all the requirements and structuring various modules.
  • Designed userinterface pages and actions using JSP and struts MVC architecture.
  • Designed and developed the Web framework for Availability process using struts, JSP, html,CSS.
  • Participated in developing the use case documents for requirements gathering.
  • Gathered the information on bugs and fixed the bugs.
  • Also take part in the implementation of the project at various client locations.
  • Taken part in creating user manuals and TEST case documentations.

Environment: J2EE, Java 2.0, JSP 2.0, Servlets 2.2, NetBeans 6.1, MySQL ,PL/SQL, Windows NT/XP.

Title : COM (Customer Order Management)

Client : Indian Oil Corporation Limited, India

Duration : April 08 to February 09.

Description: Customer Order Management manages the complex relationships between orders, customer accounts and products, IOC Customer Order Management enables operators to streamline operations and align business processes around the customer. COM Enables the timely and accurate ordering of communications services Standardizes product definition Integrates order management and provisioning, accelerates the deployment of convergent services.

COM delivers fully supported convergent services with the practicality offered by a modular design. Capable of integrating with legacy systems, IOC reduces the number of required business support systems (BSS) while improving a company's ability to deliver more services – bundled and advanced services – rapidly and with better cross-product promotion and discounting, and at the same time it ensures customer delight (with special service from operators, no cable).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the specification designs and development of Interfaces for Wholesalers and provisioning Systems.
  • Responsible for developing a specialized tool for updating user details from MS-Excel files directly to MySQL database.
  • Designed and developed the Web framework for Availability process using struts, JSP, Servlets, JNLP, xml, html,
  • Participated in developing the use case documents for requirements gathering.
  • Developed code for UI and business logic methods for retrieving the previous indents from the database and to add those to booking using struts, JSP, Servlets, xml, html,

Project #3

Title : Daily Sales Record System

Client : Indian Oil Corporation

Duration : Jun 2008 –Dec 09.

Description: The Daily Sales Record System (DSR) application to gather daily sales information from dealers of IOC with pre populated information. The DSR system depends on Messaging subsystem and will gather additional information specific required printing on the final sales analysis report.

The DSR system will interface the Messaging System, allowing tolerance checking of format and other compliances. Used XML, XSL, XSLT to generate web based sales record and the account manager can provides privileged access to the information needed on the plan or account level and then print out the report to sign by the client.

Client Interface is a web based account management system, which was integrated from existing legacy system. IOC decided to upgrade it to web based system so that the request can be sending as web services request and changed the needed data. Used XML, JMS, Web Services etc

Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of User Interfaces using JSP, Struts, XML, HTML, DHTML and CSS, Created the project specific AJAX controls
  • Understanding the legacy Jakarta Struts MVC framework, and migrated to JSF, and used JSP tags libraries, AJAX for implementing web presentation layer
  • Developed Sequence, Use Case Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Used Java Regular Expression for verifying correctness of data, implemented pattern matching for user submitted values against the standard values
  • Developed JSP Custom Tags for data Sever Decryption / Encryption
  • Used JSF framework in developing user interfaces using JSF UI Components, Validator, Events and Listeners.
  • Prepared an online order tacking system for dealers.

ONLINE CONFERENCE SUBMISSION SYSTEM

Description:

Online Conference Submission System provides a comprehensive online submission and review system for both academic and professional conferences. OCSS allows users to submit papers via only a web browser, streamlines the entire paper-review process, and provides full support for conference chairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering.
  • Designing Graphical User Interfaces using SWINGS and Designing DATABASES using MySQL 5.0
  • coding and Validation.

Educational Qualification:

TRIMS req / Key Deliverables: Designing & modifying trim parts (interior & exterior) to achieve its function & requirements (including homologation). Work on CAD Catia V5 .Designing to be done with consideration of interface packaging, manufacturing, assembly, servicing (field) aspects. To make Assembly and assembly simulations (where ever required). To release the design data in the system as per required product data management system within project timeline Creation of Drawings & 3D annotations with proper GD&T and datum points in Catia V5 and Release it for Production. To co-ordinate and keep the DFMEA document completed & updated as per design progress. To attend system team meetings - update & record the minutes. To keep other relevant project documentations (SOR, DVP etc) updated & in records. Follow the ECN for design updating. To assist the project & development team in addressing the APQP elements. "Area of Expertise / Skill set:"- Expert in CAD (Catia V5) skills for making concepts & good surfaces. Understanding of surface parameters & quality. Good capability to develop multi solutions to specific problems and analyses pros & cons, evaluate & identify the most optimum solution. Basic working knowledge of materials (plastics, elastomers etc.), process (molding, forming, etc.) and tooling (injection, fixtures etc.), used in trim parts. Expert in plastic product design – preferably in automobile field. Working understanding of tolerancing and location methods and schemes. Ability to search relevant benchmarks and deploy good practices and learnings from published lessons.
