So what exactly is a Penguin Carbonator you may be asking? This eco-friendly soda charger quickly transforms ordinary tap water into fresh sparkling water. Enjoy it on its own or as the base for cocktails or homemade sodas. Simply fill the reusable glass carafe with water, insert it into the Penguin and press the carbonating "beak." You can customize carbonation so each batch has just the right amount of fizz, and you can hear the penguin "beep" as he creates your perfect blend of bubbly water. I love this product as it requires no batteries or electricity and the carafes are reusable so it is entirely eco-friendly as well as being so darn cute to look at on my kitchen counter. We love ours so much that I think we'll have to buy one when we return to Italy as it will save a lot of money on the bottled water we usually buy there!
