Position Summary
Creates graphic design aspects of a product line and presents graphic concepts of the line each season. Innovates new design techniques and concepts. May be responsible for mentoring other Graphic Designers.
Position Responsibilities
* Develops seasonal research information and creates inspiration boards.
* Creates artwork for brand and graphic applications; responsible for any changes or modifications to existing artwork.
* Responsible for color pegging and information layouts. Emails approved graphics for vendor use.
* Presents graphic concepts of the assigned line each season.
* Responsible for organizing and communicating progress of development within assigned graphic category.
* Mentors Graphic Designers and assists with training.
Position Requirements
* Associate or Bachelor Degree in Illustration Studies or Graphic Design.
* Knowledge of Mac operating systems, including Freehand, Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Experience in the apparel industry, preferably with the Tween demographic.
* Knowledge of screen printing ,embroidery and other applied techniques.
* 3 -5 years experience Graphic Design experience, preferably in the fashion apparel industry.
